About Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay is a renowned nature park in Singapore which is located in the heart of the city adjacent to Marina Bay. The park spans 101 hectares and consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay Central Garden. The park also includes outdoor gardens, lakes, and walkways. It’s a perfect blend of nature and futuristic design, offering breathtaking views of Singapore’s skyline. The nightly light and sound show at the Supertree Grove is a must-see attraction.

The Gardens

Gardens by the Bay offers a mesmerizing experience with its diverse attractions, starting with the Flower Dome, the world’s largest glass greenhouse, which showcases exotic plants and flowers from Mediterranean and semi-arid regions. The Cloud Forest features a 35-meter tall mountain covered in lush vegetation, mist, and the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, creating a cool, refreshing atmosphere.

Floral Fantasy, an indoor garden with four thematic zones merges nature, technology, and artistry into a dreamlike experience. In “Dance,” vibrant floral arrangements seem to float and sway in the air, while “Float” mirrors a rainforest with suspended flowers and a serene stream. “Waltz” offers a lush garden with fragrant pathways resembling a whimsical meadow, and “Drift” features underwater-themed floral displays and aquatic plants that capture the fluidity of water.

The 4D Multimedia Ride takes visitors on an immersive journey through the various landscapes of Gardens by the Bay, offering a unique perspective on the park’s attractions. Interactive displays use augmented reality and other technologies to enhance the visitor experience, making it engaging and educational.

Visitors can also enjoy retail and dining options, with a boutique offering floral-themed merchandise and a coffee shop providing a relaxing spot to enjoy refreshments amidst the floral displays. The Heritage Gardens reflect Singapore’s diverse history and culture with themed gardens based on Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Colonial heritage, while the Children’s Garden offers a fun and interactive area designed for children, featuring water play areas and educational zones.
