History of Australian Repitle Park

The importance of Australian Reptile Park is immense in the rich heritage of Australian wildlife. Eric Worrell founded the park in 1949 and contributed to the development and preservation of Australian wildlife and aquatic life. The park was named Australian Reptile Park in 1985. Since 1962, the park has been providing antivenom and has become a breeding hub for various snakes, such as taipans and tiger snakes, ensuring the conservation of their species. Even after a massive fire, the park reopened in 2000 and continued to develop to enhance Australia’s wildlife.
