How to arrive
Visitors getting to the famous museum in Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum have a variety of transportation options, making it easily accessible from different parts of the city.
By Tram: Tram lines 1, 2, 5, 7, 12, and 19 stop near the Rijksmuseum. The closest tram stop is “Spiegelgracht.”
By Bus: Several bus lines can take you to the Rijksmuseum, including 305, 314, 347, 397, 41, 65, and 852. The nearest bus stops are “Leidseplein” and “Overtoom.”
By Train: You can take IC (InterCity) and SPR (Sprinter) trains to the “Museumplein” train station, which is near the museum.
By Metro: Take Metro Line 52 to the “Vijzelgracht” station. From there, it’s a short walk to the Rijksmuseum.
By Light Rail: Light Rail lines 1, 12, and 19 stop at various locations near the Rijksmuseum, including “Leidseplein,” “Museumplein,” and “Vijzelgracht.”
