The numbers below match the pins on the map, the PDF and the video. The first 8 sights sit on the walking route through the centre; the last 5 are reached by metro or funicular.
- Sagrada Família, Eixample. Gaudí's unfinished basilica, its clustered towers visible from half the city. Stop 1 of the walking route.
- La Pedrera, Casa Milà, Passeig de Gràcia. Gaudí's rippling stone apartment block, with the chimney warriors on the roof. Stop 2 of the walking route.
- Casa Batlló, Passeig de Gràcia. Gaudí's remodelled house with bone-like balconies and a roof arched like a dragon's back. Stop 3 of the walking route.
- Mercat de la Boqueria, La Rambla. The cast-iron market hall of fruit, seafood and tapas counters beside La Rambla. Stop 4 of the walking route.
- Palau Güell, El Raval. Gaudí's townhouse for Eusebi Güell, behind twin parabolic gates just off La Rambla. Stop 5 of the walking route.
- Cathedral of Barcelona, Gothic Quarter. The Catalan Gothic cathedral with its cloister of thirteen geese and roof terraces. Stop 6 of the walking route.
- Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar, El Born. The purest Catalan Gothic interior in the city, three naves of bare stone. Stop 7 of the walking route.
- Ciutadella Park, between El Born and the Vila Olímpica. The central park with the lake, the Cascada fountain and the Catalan Parliament. Stop 8 of the walking route.
- Camp Nou, Les Corts. FC Barcelona's stadium, with the club museum and the stadium tour. Off the route: Metro L3 Palau Reial or L5 Collblanc (4.5 km west of the centre).
- Park Güell, Gràcia. Gaudí's hillside garden city with the mosaic dragon stair and the serpentine bench. Off the route: Metro L3 Lesseps, then uphill on foot (4.1 km north-west of the centre).
- Montjuïc, between the port and Plaça d'Espanya. The hill of the MNAC, the Fundació Miró, Poble Espanyol and the castle. Off the route: Metro L2 or L3 to Paral·lel, then the Montjuïc funicular (2.6 km south-west of the centre).
- Tibidabo, Collserola. The hilltop amusement park beneath the Sagrat Cor church, with views over the coast. Off the route: FGC to Avinguda Tibidabo and the Cuca de Llum funicular from Plaça del Doctor Andreu (6.5 km north-west of the centre).
- Casa Vicens, Gràcia. Gaudí's first house, a tiled summer villa on a narrow Gràcia street. Off the route: Metro L3 Fontana (3.2 km north-west of the centre).

How to reach every sight on the map
The centre is walkable: the 8 stops on the route cover 7.0 km, about 1 h 25 of walking without the visits, and the longest leg is the 1.7 km from the Sagrada Família to La Pedrera.
The metro, run by TMB, follows the route: L2 and L5 stop at Sagrada Família, Diagonal (L3, L5) and Passeig de Gràcia (L2, L3, L4) serve La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, Liceu (L3) is at the door of La Boqueria and close to Palau Güell, Jaume I (L4) is the stop for the cathedral and Santa Maria del Mar, and Ciutadella | Vila Olímpica (L4) is beside the park.

- Camp Nou: Metro L3 Palau Reial or L5 Collblanc, 4.5 km west
- Park Güell: Metro L3 Lesseps, then a walk uphill, 4.1 km north-west
- Montjuïc: Metro L2 or L3 to Paral·lel, then the Montjuïc funicular, 2.6 km south-west
- Tibidabo: FGC to Avinguda Tibidabo, then up to Plaça del Doctor Andreu for the Cuca de Llum funicular, 6.5 km north-west
