Tourist office Hurghada
Hurghada has 2 tourist information offices, and the Egyptian Tourism Authority runs both of them: one on the tourist walkway and one on Al-Nasr Street, the Hurghada Museum office. The authority was set up in 1981 to boost international tourism to Egypt, and it also promotes domestic tourism and tourism awareness across the country.
Neither the walkway office nor the museum office has published opening hours.

Visit Hurghada in detail
A one-day route on top things to do in Hurghada starts in Ad-Dahar, the old quarter, at El Dahar Bazaar and Saint Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church, then heads south to Hurghada Marina and El Mina Mosque in Sigala and ends at the Hurghada Grand Aquarium.
Boats from the marina reach the reefs of the Giftun Islands and the white sand of Orange Bay, while desert safaris head inland and Sand City sets out its sand sculptures on the Safaga road. The guide favours October to April, once the summer heat has eased, and the microbuses and taxis of the coastal strip for getting about.
