This was an amazing step back in time to a city that has not been developed or modernized with time
So amazing to see the detail still in these almost 2000 year old buildings
You can't help but wonder what it was like and who you would have been in this city

It is not so necessary for such an activity, but the staff here was very nice. And the place itself, beautiful! I can't compare to Pompeii where I haven't been but in the area of Naples this was definitely one of the best experiences!

We ended up getting a guide at the entrance of Herculaneum (Paulo), and the tour was fantastic! The site was practically empty, and it was the best experience I’ve had at an archeological site. The ticket process was very smooth too.
This is an absolute must-visit for anyone interested in this part of history. The grounds were meticulously well kept and, while much smaller than neighboring Pompeii, full of wonderful discoveries. 10/10
I personally found this as more interesting than Pompeii, the buildings and streets were more intact, unfortunately we'd also booked to go up Vesuvius so we didn't have as long to explore as I would have liked.

You need to validate the tickets on the ticket office first but as we went on a Saturday afternoon, there was no queue and no problem at all
Tickets were posted to uk address as opposed to online. But arrived by secure courier well before we needed them. I had a couple of queries that were answered by email promptly and efficiently. Can recommend this age
Ease of use and communication was great. We were able to catch train from Naples to Ecolano Scavi plus a short 10 minute walk to park entrance.
Easy to book and responded with a variety of ways to access and use your tickets. Useful directions with link to Google maps included. The site itself is fantastic with so much still able to be seen.
Very easy, would easily use again. Loved Herculaneum and buying tickets before meant we beat the queue. Would recommend and use again. Please make sure you take your passport for rent of audio guide.
Super experience. We used the QR code to redeem our tickets at the ticket office. The audio guide app worked fairly well and was useful for learning more about Herculaneum.
Very simple process with entrance assistant to point the way. This ticket is good because an entry time does not need to be selected, unlike others. And the site is extremely interesting and well-presented.
We bought our tickets online, arrived at the site about 10 am. went straight through to the ticket office to pick up our tickets and were inside in 5 minutes. A seamless experience.
Great experience! Guide Chiara had profound knowledge of Herculaneum's history, and the use of VR glasses added another dimension to the historical tour. Definitely worth it!
Excellent service. Though when we visited there wasn’t a line. But half an hour later 3 coaches had arrived so you never know! Herculaneum is wonderful. Far smaller than Pompeii but better preserved and somehow closer.
Herculaneum is not to be missed. The exchange of voucher for tickets was very easy and we walked straight in. Obviously this may change in high season.
Fascinating site. 1-2 hours is plenty. We didn’t really skip the line as such as we had to exchange our voucher for a paper ticket and then join behind a tour of school kids. Thankfully it wasn’t overly busy
Herculaneum is a much smaller and somewhat better preserved version of Pompei. It’s definitely worth the time it takes to get there by the local train. So glad I made the time!
