Mount Vesuvius: Entry + Roundtrip from Ercolano by Vesuvio Express

Usual Italian confusion getting on board, but driver very good and finding coach for return trip simple and on time. Gets very busy so make sure you can recognise the coach for coming down. Tour shop right outside Ercolaneum Scavi station

It is worth the effort to go on this trip. Make sure you wear suitable footwear as it is a long walk to the top. The views are amazing all along the route so make time to pause, get your breath back, and enjoy the scenery.

We did this trip with our 7, 5 and 3 year old and they managed the climb well in the time. We also felt safe at all times on the bus despite the winding roads. Great views, well worth the hike!

Perfect trip - as described in the advert. Express coach and entry ticket. Plenty of time to reach the crater summit and get back to the bus. both 60 made it No problems.

Great trip to Vesuvius, comfortable coach to transfer you to the start point. You get 2 hours to complete the walk, then coach back. Recommend

Great experience, well organised, office right outside the train station along with pick point, coach driver was fantastic navigating the winding road up, plenty of time to take it all in and we got great views.

It is a must! Very well organized. The hike from the bus stop to the top is about 45 minutes. It's steep and slippery, so be careful. But astonishing views fully deserved the effort. If you go to the meeting point by car, I recommend "Garage royal di nobile eduardo" nearby.

The mountain is a great experience; these guys made getting there by bus, into the national park and then back again easy.

Picked up the coach from outside Ercolano Scavi train station. The coach driver pointed out the sights on the way. Plenty of time to walk up to the crater before coming back down to the station.

Way there was very easy. Tickets given when on the bus straight forward Bus very late taking us back. Waited 35 minutes after we arrived at the time we got told to be back Very easy and handy as looked very difficult to get to Vesuvius

Easy process to book. Arrived at Vesuvio Express office at Ercolano Savi to catch the shuttle bus up to Vesuvius Car park then from there entered for the walk to the rim. From entering you get 2hrs to summit and the return back to the car park.

The starting point .. is not easy to find. The address shown in the confirmation leads to another corner via Google Maps. Other than that: Good Vesuvius experience, good driver.

Trip accomplished what we needed: return transportation from ercolano and admission to the park. Bus didn't leave on time, and they overbooked by 1 seat so we had to crowd an extra person on the back row. But otherwise, all was good.

Good trip up the mountain. Chaos at return pick up point. Bus was about an hour late. Nobody appeared to know what was going on. Would have helped to have signs on bus and someone in charge of the shebang

At the agency in Ercolano the staff was impolite, did not inform us about the meeting point nor about the program. We had to find out where to meet the others. The program itself was good.

I am not sure what happened but It was raining heavily and I didn't receive any notification of cancellation but also couldn't find anyway at the meeting point
