Tourist office Buenos Aires
The Ente de Turismo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, the city's tourism body, runs 2 tourist assistance centres: the Hub de Turismo in Recoleta, which opens on weekdays, and the centre at Retiro, which also opens on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Visitors can also put tourism questions to Boti, the city's chat, which offers the option of speaking to an assistant at set hours.

On a public holiday, offices, museums and transport in Buenos Aires may close or switch to holiday hours. The Retiro tourist assistance centre opens from 08:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, while the Hub de Turismo in Recoleta opens Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00.
Argentina has 17 national public holidays in 2026. Most keep a fixed date, and the law moves the movable ones that fall on a Tuesday or Wednesday to the previous Monday, and those that fall on a Thursday or Friday to the following Monday, which in 2026 shifts 17 June to 15 June and 20 November to 23 November. Monday 9 November 2026 is also a national holiday, for the visit of Pope Leo XIV, and Tuesday 10 November 2026 is a holiday in the city of Buenos Aires and in Córdoba Province.
23 March, 10 July and 7 December 2026 are tourist non-working days (días no laborables), which are not public holidays.
