Tourist office Giza
The Egyptian Tourism Authority, whose board of directors is chaired by the Minister of Tourism, keeps 2 tourist information offices in Giza. The first stands at the main entrance to the Giza Pyramids area in Al Haram, the second at Giza Railway Station in Al-Omraniya.
The Grand Egyptian Museum has an information desk of its own, where museum visitors can ask for help and directions or about lost property.

Three Fourth Dynasty pyramids, raised for Khufu, his son Khafre and Menkaure, head the guide to what to see in Giza, together with the Great Sphinx on the eastern edge of the plateau and the Grand Egyptian Museum, which opened beside the plateau on 1 November 2025 and shows the complete collection of Tutankhamun.
Day trips south reach the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, Sneferu's Bent and Red pyramids at Dahshur and the fallen colossus of Ramesses II at Memphis. Haram, along Pyramids Road, is the tourist base, and the guide also points to Dokki and Mohandessin, nearer the Nile, for quieter residential streets.
