Haarlem Marketing, the city marketing organisation of Haarlem, runs 1 tourist information office: VVV Haarlem at Grote Markt 2. It answers questions about the city, gives out walking brochures and a city map, and sells museum tickets and Haarlem souvenirs.
Next door, in the cellars of the Town Hall, Haarlem Marketing's Anno Haarlem visitor centre tells the history of the city with an animated film and sends visitors with questions to the VVV.

On a public holiday, offices, museums and transport in Haarlem may close or switch to holiday hours.
