Tourist office Normandy
The Normandy Regional Tourism Board keeps no walk-in tourist information office of its own and points visitors to about 170 local tourist offices and information centres across the region, all run by other bodies. Among them are the tourist offices of Rouen, Caen, Honfleur, Mont-Saint-Michel and Bayeux, a medieval town on the doorstep of the D-Day landing beaches. All 5 help visitors in person, with opening hours that change at least twice a year.

Get to know Normandy in detail
The things to visit in Normandy start with a one-day route along the D-Day coast, from Bayeux Cathedral through the Normandy American Cemetery and Pointe du Hoc to Arromanches-les-Bains, and go on to Mont-Saint-Michel, Rouen, Honfleur, Étretat, Giverny and the Mémorial de Caen.
Several highlights in the guide cost nothing, among them Omaha Beach, the cliffs of Étretat and the cathedrals of Bayeux and Rouen, and its travel notes recommend a rental car for getting between the coast and the towns.
