Tourist office Orlando
Visit Orlando, the not-for-profit destination marketing organisation for the Orlando area, names no walk-in visitor centre of its own on its website. Its vacation planners answer questions by live chat, telephone and email instead. Tourist information in person comes from staffed points run by other bodies, among them the Discover Downtown Info Center near Church Street in downtown Orlando, run by the City of Orlando, and the Winter Park Welcome Center in neighbouring Winter Park, run by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
Where to find the tourist offices in Orlando
Visit Orlando offers free one-on-one vacation planning by appointment, in several languages, through live chat, telephone and email, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 15:00 Eastern Time, except Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. Points run by other bodies help in person, in downtown Orlando and in neighbouring Winter Park.

Opening hours: daily 09:00 to 18:00, except major holidays and the second Sunday of each month

Public holidays in Orlando to plan around
On a public holiday, offices, museums and transport in Orlando may close or switch to holiday hours. Three sources set the days. The 11 federal holidays under 5 U.S.C. 6103 apply to federal offices. The City of Orlando names 10 days in 2026 when the city is closed for business: eight of the federal dates plus 27 November and 24 December. Washington's Birthday, Columbus Day and Veterans Day are not on the city's list, and on-street parking meter spaces are not enforced on city observed holidays. Florida Statutes section 683.01 names further legal holidays, such as Pascua Florida Day on 2 April, that are not on the city list.
