Rouen Tourisme, the tourist office of Rouen and its metropolitan area, runs 1 tourist information point in Rouen itself: the tourist office next to the Musée des Beaux-Arts, on the Esplanade Marcel-Duchamp. It works there while the Bureau des Finances on place de la Cathédrale, its home since 1959, is being restored, with a return expected around 2027. Its advisers help with visits, restaurants and places to stay, and a shop sells local products. The same body runs tourist information points in Jumièges, La Bouille and Elbeuf, all outside Rouen.

Local holidays in Rouen 2026
Rouen has no local holidays on top of the national calendar. The only extra legal holidays in mainland France, Good Friday on 3 April and the second day of Christmas on 26 December, apply to Alsace and Moselle alone, and Rouen, the capital of Normandy, lies outside that area.
The Musée des Beaux-Arts, next to the tourist office, closes on Tuesdays and on the same five dates as the office, according to the museum's page on mbarouen.fr.
