Tourist office Versailles
The Versailles Grand Parc Tourist and Convention Office is the official tourist office of Versailles, and it runs 1 tourist information centre inside the town, at 1 place du Maréchal Lyautey, beside the Palace and facing the Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche station. Two more centres run by the same office sit outside Versailles, at Bougival and at Jouy-en-Josas. The team advises in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese and opens 362 days a year, closing only on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. Tourist information centre by the Rive Gauche station

Local holidays in Versailles 2026
Versailles has no local holidays on top of the national calendar. The only extra legal holidays in mainland France, Good Friday on 3 April and the second day of Christmas on 26 December, apply to Alsace and Moselle alone, and Versailles sits in the Yvelines, well outside that regime.
The tourist information centre opens 362 days a year and closes only on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December, so it works on Easter Monday, on 14 July and on the rest of the list.
